These terms govern your use of Klipsend — the Mac application and the cloud sharing service at klipsend.com. By using Klipsend you agree to them.
Klipsend lets you record your screen on a Mac, keep and export recordings locally, and optionally share them as links hosted by us. Local recording and export are free. Cloud sharing has a free tier and a paid Pro tier.
Cloud sharing requires signing in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account. Keep your device and sign-in secure.
Klipsend Pro is a one-time purchase of $49 — not a subscription. It licenses Klipsend Pro for your personal use on up to 3 of your own Macs. Payment and invoicing are handled by Polar as merchant of record; refunds are handled through Polar as well.
You own your recordings. To make sharing work, you grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and serve the recordings you choose to upload, and to display comments and reactions left on them. You're responsible for having the right to record and share what you upload.
Don't use Klipsend to store or share content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive, and don't attempt to disrupt or misuse the service. We may remove content or disable links that violate these terms.
We work hard to keep your recordings safe — recording writes continuously to disk precisely so you don't lose work. That said, the cloud service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of anything important; your local files are always yours.
To the extent permitted by law, Klipsend is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
